Easy Ways to Clean Your Bathroom Mirror

Bathroom mirrors are prone to water spots, smudges, and streaks. You need to make it part of your routine to clean your bathroom mirror regularly. You may have a very clean bathroom but if your bathroom mirror has spots and stains, it can easily turn off your guests.

Rubbing alcohol

If you see visible spots in your mirror, you have to get rid of them first before doing the cleaning method of your choice so you will not end up smearing the whole mirror. Get a clean cotton pad then wet it with rubbing alcohol. Use the pad to dab those spots away. Take note that this is a before cleaning step. You still have to do some actual cleaning after.

Liquid bleach

Chlorine powder

Prepare a paste out of chlorine powder and water. Make sure it is thick enough. Then, apply the paste to the surface of the mirror and let it stand until completely dry. This would take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once it is totally dry, rinse the mirror with water. Then, get a clean dry cloth to wipe the mirror dry.

Lemon juice

The high acid content in lemon juice is strong enough to get rid of grease and fat. It is also very effective for cleaning. All you have to do is soak a cotton pad in the lemon juice and wipe the mirror properly. Then, use a dry cloth to wipe off the lemon juice.

White vinegar

In a ratio of 2:1, mix warm water and white vinegar. Then, take a clean cloth, dip in the solution, and wipe the mirror. Then, use another dry clean cloth to wipe the mirror dry.

Toothpaste

Squeeze some toothpaste on a clean cloth and start wiping evenly on the surface. Let the toothpaste stay for about 15 to 20 minutes. Wait until it completely dries. Then, get a damp cloth and wipe the mirror. Finish by drying the mirror with a clean, dry cloth.

Face tonic

You can use face tonic to clean your bathroom mirror. All you have to do is pour a generous amount of it on a cotton pad. Then, wipe the mirror with it. After, get a clean, dry cloth to wipe the tonic off the mirror.

Used newspapers

When it comes to polishing mirrors, newspapers are the most effective. All you have to do is spray water on the mirror. Then, crush the newspaper and use them to scrub the mirror. Add pressure when you scrub if your mirror has stubborn stains.
